A Message from the Founders

We grew up fixing and flipping homes with our family, and we’ve loved building ever since. In college, we worked for general contractors around here and saw the same problem every time: homeowners were left guessing about what they were getting, what it would cost, and what might change.

So in 2020 we started Lucas Brothers Construction to do it differently. We design first, so every detail is planned before we build. You get one fixed price, and you always know what’s happening and why.

Before You Book

Why a range and not an exact price?

A range lets you plan before you commit to anything. Your project isn’t fully designed yet, so it wouldn’t be honest to promise a final number. Once design is complete, you get one fixed price, and it doesn’t change.

What does the design phase cost?

Design is where we plan every detail of your remodel so the price can be locked. The fee is scaled to the size of your project, and one-third of it is credited toward your build if you move forward with us. We’ll go over the exact number with you before you decide anything.

What happens on the first call?

It’s a quick, no-pressure conversation, about [15-20] minutes, to learn about your project, timeline, and budget and see if we’re a good fit. There’s no sales pitch and no obligation. If it makes sense for both of us, the next step is a free visit to your home, where we measure and talk through your goals.
